My name is Kathleen, but I go by Katie. I’m from St. Louis and spent six years living in Panama City, Florida, where I started my tattoo journey a little later than most—at the ripe age of 30. I’ve always loved the tattoo industry, from the smell of green soap to the sound of the machines and the artistry behind every unique design.
When I moved to Florida, I bartended while building my art portfolio to show my would-be mentor. I had one shop in mind—where my artist worked—and after putting in the time and effort, I earned a spot at Gulf Coast Professional.
I’ve been tattooing for three years now, and my style has evolved quite a bit. I started focused only on linework, but that quickly changed. Now, full-color pieces are my favorite—neotraditional, illustrative, anything with color.
